A must is a visit to the cosy Oisterwijk, with its many terraces and restaurants, or the capital of Brabant, Den Bosch, with its old and atmospheric city centre. Fun trips with the children are the Efteling (26km) and the Beekse Bergen (18km). At a distance of 6km from the house is a large recreational lake 'De IJzeren Man', where you can swim, pedal boats, row and sail in the summer
