About this holiday home
Want to experience the real Provençal life as Provençals do? Then this is the right place for you. Hidden between the restanque walls and the beautiful vegetation lies this typically Provencal holiday home. You get to this house via a country road. You will enjoy the peace and quiet and the scents of Provence. At your own swimming pool, sunbeds are ready for you to enjoy the sunshine and take a refreshing dip every now and then. The partially enclosed garden consists of lots of greenery and all sorts of plants and herbs from the region. There are several cosy shaded terraces hidden in the garden. For the little ones, there is a slide and swing and of course they can romp around in the garden. This is also a true paradise for your pets.
Inside, it is as if time has stood still. You will find the comforts of today and the atmosphere of yesteryear. You can still see an old coffee grinder hanging on the wall, but there is also a modern Nespresso machine to start the morning with outside on the terrace. All rooms are on the ground floor. A hall leads to the 3 spacious bedrooms and the bathroom with shower. The house is nice and cool in summer, because of the thick walls that ensure the heat stays outside
Want to explore the surrounding area? There is plenty to do in the Vaucluse. Starting in your home village of L'Isle sur la Sorgue (or as the French say: l'isle sur Sorgue). Every Sunday there is a local market and antiques market. This place is also called the Venice of France because the river Sorgue runs right through the town. Famous singers such as Patrick Bruel, Reinaud and Dave have lost their hearts to this town. With a bit of luck, you will find them having coffee at Café de France in the morning.
Want to take a trip down the Sorgue with your children? You can hire canoes at several places to experience the area from the water. L'Isle sur la Sogue is located at the beginning of the Luberon. Here you will find numerous picturesque villages such as Lacoste, cascading down a mountainside and very popular with artists, the beautiful village of Gordes or Le Vieux Oppède. Actually, all the villages are more than worth a visit. At the end of the day, settle down on the terrace next to the house where you can relive the day's experiences while enjoying an apéro
