About this holiday home

This particular villa is in a very quiet location with lots of privacy. It features a private oval-shaped pool and beautiful views over the valley. You can relax on the huge balcony overlooking the pool and the valley beyond. All around you will find nice seating areas, as well as plenty of sun loungers and parasols. The barbecue the bright interior completes the picture. A lovely house in a prime location! .

Located at the foot of the Pyrenees, Montmaurin offers something for everyone. There are beautiful hiking trails, impressive castles, rivers and lakes with all kinds of beaches, and many picturesque villages to stroll through and enjoy nature and culture. You can go white-water rafting in the Canyon de Arlos, go horse riding or visit the jazz festival in Marciac and the many local food festivals .

Montmaurin is a quiet pretty rural village with an auberge that is lovely and opens 3 days a week, a place to buy your fresh bread and that’s it, you need a car! Property is big and spacious, it is well equipped for lots of people too. It does however need updating and a bit of a scrub in places. There’s no air conditioning or fans in bedrooms so gets extremely hot if you don’t want to open the windows for mosquito, (lots of them) The pool is perfect, surrounded in nature and there’s a beautiful view of the Pyrenees. Great place to star gaze too as no light pollution.

Het huis biedt vele mogelijkheden en heeft een leuk zwembad. We hebben ons er goed vermaakt. Wel mag de eigenaar wat aan het onderhoud van de woning doen en interieur een beetje pimpen.. Niet meer van deze tijd of in slechte staat.
