In the harbour, you will find several catering establishments, bike and boat hire and even a local brewery. Bring your own boat or rent a sloop to discover the surroundings. In the direct surroundings, you will find an outdoor swimming pool, the Hilde House about archaeology of the area, various forts and mills and the cosy centre of Uitgeest, which is also worth a visit. The park is easily accessible via the motorway and Schiphol Airport is close by. Uitgeest is also located between the cities of Alkmaar, Haarlem and Amsterdam. So plenty of opportunities for a wonderful stay with day trips!
