This holiday home is located in the outskirts of the village Schoonedijke, this rural setting is perfect for walking and cycling trips. For example, you can walk to the picturesque village of Groede in an hour. Groede is a historic village with beautiful historic buildings around a central market square. Many artists live in the village, so there are special shops where you can browse around. On the way, you walk through a natural area where you are sure to spot many birds.

For many people, the main reason to stay here are the beautiful wide sandy beaches that Zeeuwe Flanders is known for. The well-known seaside resorts of Breskens and Nieuwvliet are just a few kilometres away. In Breskens you can also eat delicious fish in one of the many very good restaurants. If the weather isn't as nice at some point during your holiday, go to one of the spas in Cadzand to enjoy a spa treatment.

You are also close to Belgium here, with the historic city of Bruges just a 40-minute drive away. The city centre is on the UNESCO list as world heritage because the old centre is so well preserved. Highly recommended is a boat trip. As the swans float around you, you sail under the old bridges and see one historic building after another right in front of you, you really feel like you are in another world. Afterwards, enjoy a local beer on one of the many terraces and enjoy your day out
