About this holiday home
Luxury country house on the edge of the charming village of Carsac Aillac, just 10 km from Sarlat and not far from Groléjac and Domme. This is the most beautiful region of the Dordogne, and the village is situated on the banks of the great river, overlooking the impressive valley of the Dordogne.
The property is fully walled, and concerns the main house for 6 persons and the guest house for 2 persons. Ideal for a family with e.g. grandparents or friends who would like some privacy
The main house is a wonderfully light house with large volumes, which still feels very homely. The decoration is rural and fits perfectly with the surroundings and the overall atmosphere of the complex. The guest house is a small building detached from the main house with its own entrance, kitchen, living room, bathroom and bedroom. It also has an indoor Jacuzzi, as well as a covered terrace with BBQ.
The property is only offered complete in high season, so you have access to a very large private pool, huge terrace (partly covered) and a beautiful pool house with even 2 planchas!

Tip from home owner
“The Dordogne valley is beautiful and invites for walks, canoeing, cultural visits to castles and medieval villages. There are many daily markets to visit, especially the Saturday market of Sarlat is very famous, but there are also the caves of Lascaux, Domme as the highest point of the valley and of course the tourist towns of Rocamadour and La Roque Gageac”
Tip from our expert
“Tip: Just outside Cenac, to the left of the bridge over the Dordogne river, you can rent canoes.
Take the distance of at least 12 km as it is downstream and you will not get tired. But you will pass the most beautiful castles and riverside villages here.
Bring a picnic and stop at a beach from time to time and enjoy!!!”
