In Waldkirchen, the Karoli swimming park, the ice rink and cosy cafés are tempting. The Bavarian Forest National Park, the treetop walk in Neuschönau and hikes to the Haidel, Lusen or Rachel mountains are ideal for day trips .

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Bernhardsberg im Bayerischen Wald. Ich war mit meinen zwei Kindern (8 und 9 Jahre) dort, und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft war fantastisch: super sauber, bestens ausgestattet (die Küche mit Vollausstattung ließ keine Wünsche offen) und von sehr netten Gastgebern geführt. Besonders geschätzt haben wir die Ruhe. Es war absolut entspannt, keine Menschenmassen, genau das, was wir gesucht haben, um einmal richtig abzuschalten. Meine Kinder konnten sich wunderbar erholen. Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, aber gerade das macht den besonderen Reiz aus, wenn man Ruhe und Natur genießen möchte. Alles in allem: sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die Erholung und eine saubere, top ausgestattete Unterkunft mit freundlichen Gastgebern suchen.
