From the terrace, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the rolling countryside. On garden level, there is a relaxation area equipped with a, fireplace, and TV with chromecast. Children can play here happily while the adults enjoy themselves upstairs by the wood stove with a good glass of wine. Pets are also welcome.

There is plenty to do in this beautiful wooded area, about half an hour from the Belgian border. You will find yourself in a beautiful natural environment with lovely hiking and cycling routes. You want to spend a day exploring the area? Visit the city of Charleville-Méziers, located on the river La Meuse. This city has an ancient history dating back to the year 1000. Here you will find the largest fort/castle in Europe. Want to explore the French Ardennes by bike? The Voie Verte Trans-Ardennes consists of a 130 km waterfront cycling route. Would you rather explore nature close to your holiday home? From your own accommodation there is direct access to the vast forest of the Chateau de Guignicourt (800 ha). A moment for complete relaxation ? In one of the dépendances of Guignicourt castle, there is a salon where you can book a massage.

Superfijn verblijf in Frankrijk!

Tip from the homeowner

The nearby castle, which is not open to the public, was built in 1710 by the Wignacourt family, two of whose members were Grand Masters of the Order of Malta. Alof from 1601 to 1622. Adrien from 1690 to 1697. Today it is owned by the descendants of the Wignacourt family, namely: The Princes of Merode

Tip from the expert

- You have direct access to the forest of Domaine du Château de Guignicourt (800 ha) - You can, for a fee, use the castle's catering service. - The owner offers the opportunity to buy Wignac cider directly on the estate - it is possible to book carriage rides in the Domaine's forest - Disconnect completely and take time for yourself and your body by booking a massage with Aurélia in her salon in the dependencies of the château de Guignicourt
