Step back in time and experience a magical spectacle on the Belgian coast! In picturesque Oostduinkerke, they still gallop through the surf: the legendary horse fishermen, the only ones in the world who still practise this age-old craft. Dressed in their yellow oilskins and boots, these sturdy men (and women!) ride sturdy Brabantine draft horses across the sea. With nets trailed behind them, they pull shrimps out of the salt water, as their ancestors have done since the 15th century
