Oostendelaan is located in the heart of Sint-Idesbald, within walking distance of the wide sandy beach and the seawall. The nearby coast tram stop takes you effortlessly to the neighboring municipalities. For families, Plopsaland De Panne (about a 10-minute drive away) is a highlight, as well as the Maritime Park with its Icelandic Mariners Monument and the Paul Delvaux Museum, dedicated to the surrealist painter. Also enjoyable are the dunes of the Plaatsduinen nature reserve for walking or cycling, and the charming shops and ice cream parlors in the center..
