For walkers, the Westhoek walk (De Panne), Ter Yde walk (Koksijde), dune routes around Sint-Idesbald and the Doornpan walk are highly recommended. The Coastal Path from De Panne to Knokke also offers 76 km of pure walking pleasure along the sea, dunes and nature reserves such as the Zwin and the Westhoek reserve. For a shorter trip, you can opt for local loop walks through the protected dune landscape or along the boulevards of Koksijde and Sint-Idesbald.
