About this holiday home

This gîte was renovated and refurbished in 2018 to offer modern facilities while retaining the original character of the building in terms of materials and general atmosphere. An ideal gîte for a family break! It has a beautiful living room with a wood-burning stove and comfortable armchairs, a dining room with a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, threestunningul bedrooms on the first floor, two bathrooms and a lovely terrace overlooking the estate.

For hikers and nature lovers, the nearby Maison du Tourisme offers many walks and mountain bike rides, particularly on the many legends of the Orval region!.

On Sunday, Easter Monday and Whit Monday the departure time is at the latest at 18:00 hours at this holiday home
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

De eigenaren van de woning zijn zeer prettig in contact. Mw. D'Otreppe spreekt Frans maar ook goed NL. dhr. reageert heel snel op mails. de verhuur verloopt via een prettig bedrijf dat eveneens snel reageert. Woning is ruim en prettig koel op warme dagen (dikke wanden) geen airco. Prachtige domein met paarden en vriendelijke honden (deze worden op eigen terrein van de eigenaar gehouden). Leuk riviertje vlak bij de woning op domein om veilig in te spelen. Heel veel mooie wandelroutes direct vanaf het domein of in de zeer nabije omgeving. Aanrader voor mensen die houden van rust en natuur. In nabije omgeving ook voldoende supermarkten en restaurants.

Tip from the expert

Don't forget to visit the Orval brewery and taste their famous beer, accompanied by a piece of Abbey cheese! Visit the nearby village of Chassepierre and its famous festival in August. There's a second gite nearby, and you can rent both if you're a big family
