About this holiday home

This beautiful country house in Brakel is in a quiet and rural location among the meadows. Outside is a terrace where you can sit in the sun in summer, enjoying the beautiful view of the green meadows. You can enjoy the crackling fireplace on the sofa and admire the gorgeous view through the large windows. The house has all the amenities and includes five bedrooms, two of which are separated by a curtain.

The holiday home is located in the hilly region of the Flemish Ardennes. This area is, therefore, ideal for walking and cycling trips. For example, you can take a beautiful walk in the hills of the Brakelbos or along the little river Zwalm in the Zwalm valley. You can use the 830-kilometer-long cycling network of the Flemish Ardennes for cycling trips. You can also spend a day in the beautiful city of Brussels or Ghent.

Good to know

  • Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

  • For reasons of tranquillity, reservations for groups of persons under 25 years of age are not permitted

  • Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home

Positieve punten: Zeer mooie en ruime living en eettafel. Iedereen kon comfortabel zitten, genoeg ruimte voor gezelschapspellen ed. Beneden was lekker warm. Er was ook een haardvuur aanwezig (hiervoor wel geen aanmaakblokjes / klein aanmaakhout gevonden). Kamers boven zijn ruim en proper. 1 van beide badkamers is ruim en goed geventileerd. Ruim bad. Keuken proper, voldoende uitgerust. Kon beter: Indeling van het huis is niet logisch. Beide badkamers zijn beneden. Geen WC boven. 1 van beide badkamers is heel vochtig. Geen ventilatie, pleisterwerk komt los. Badkamer staat quasi volledig onder water als er gedoucht is. Slechts afgesloten met een gordijn van een deel vd gang die toegang geeft tot de achterdeur. Veel zaken zelf mee te brengen: handdoeken, afwasmiddel, lakens, wc papier, kruiden... De kamer op de benedenverdieping bevat een stapelbed en 2p-bed. Beiden zijn gescheiden met een gordijn. De ruimte van het 2p-bed is eerder klein ; geen minpunt, maar good too know.

zeer mooi en aangenaam verblijf gehad in dit mooie huis dat zeer rustig gelegen in de Vlaamse ardennen. De communicatie voor het verblijf verliep zeer vlot en de code van het sleutelkluisje verliep perfect. Dit huis heeft alles om een fijn weekend door te brengen met de familie. Zeker een aanrader om te verblijven.

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad met familie (7 personen). De host is vriendelijk en goed bereikbaar. De woning was bij binnenkomst goed verwarmt, schoon en opgeruimd.

Leuk verblijf gehad in deze prachtige streek! Zalige tuin om tot rust te komen. Grote tafels en ruime living, ideaal voor grotere groepen. Minpuntjes: extra betaald voor bed- en badlinnen, maar niet elke volwassene kreeg een grote handdoek. Ook een kinderstoel ontbrak en babybed is niet in hoogte verstelbaar.
