About this holiday home

This cosy chalet is located in a nice family park in Bocholt, Belgium. The chalet has a comfortable interior, made-up beds and is fully equipped. You can enjoy the sunshine in your garden at the chalet, and you can have a drink or a nice dinner on your terrace. There is plenty to do at the holiday park. Take a dip in the swimming pool or enjoy a cup of coffee while the children have fun at one of the many park facilities.

There is also plenty to do in the area around the holiday park. There are several walking routes nearby and an extensive cycle route network. This area is known for its many mills and watermills. Molennetwerk Kempenbroek has mapped out various cycling routes which take you past the most beautiful mills. The Bocholter Brewery Museum is also worth a visit, as it is the largest brewery museum in Europe!.

Wij waren hier voor de tweede keer dit jaar , het is zo’n mooi plekje en van alle gemakken voorzien . Modern en een nieuw fiets schuurtje  en een geweldig uitzicht . Hele mooie fiets en wandel omgeving, en voldoende supermarkten en goede restaurants in de omgeving !! Kort om een echte aanrader , en het ontvangst is bijzonder hartelijk bij aankomst !!

Wat hebben wij genoten van ons verblijf bij Chalet Veldzicht! We konden dankzij de gastvrijheid van Prisca en Tom al wat eerder aankomen, waardoor we meteen op pad konden voor een mooie wandeling. Het chalet is van alle gemakken voorzien, super verzorgd en heeft een prachtig uitzicht. Echt een plek om even helemaal tot rust te komen. We hebben heerlijk gewandeld, onder andere de Goolderroute en Terhillsroute – absoluut aanraders! 🥾🌿 Daarnaast lekker gegeten bij De Potter in Bree en genoten van een drankje bij Den Bazaar in Bocholt. En natuurlijk mocht een avondje puzzelen niet ontbreken. 😉 Kortom: een heerlijk weekend met de meiden, veel gezelligheid, lekker eten, mooie wandelingen en vooral volop ontspanning. Chalet Veldzicht is een heerlijke plek om er even helemaal tussenuit te zijn. Wij komen graag nog eens terug! ❤️ Groetjes, Riek, Marieke en Lilian

We had an absolutely wonderful time; we stayed two weeks in the chalet. The accomodation was incredibly clean, we had a lovely little welcome pack and our 3 year old son absolutely loved doing the children's jigsaws that were in the living room. Eating otuside on the table is beautiful and our little ones could play around the small garden very safely. The entire holiday park feels very safe, and the pools are truly excellent for small children. There are playgrounds everywhere and we found the lake front a very peaceful place to sit and watch the children play in the sand. The walks in the woods around the park are also lovely. Any issue we had, Prisca replied extremely quickly too and she even brought us new bedding after 1 week. Would recommend to any young family.

We hebben het heel fijn gehad hier. Erg mooi chalet, een leuke ontvangst, en erg fijne communicatie met de eigenaresse zelf. Zwembad op het park is geschikt voor diverse leeftijden. Aanrader!

Are the facilities in the park open all year round?

The park is open from the Easter holidays (April) until September. During this period, all facilities are open. The swimming pools open on Ascension Day. The brasserie is open in July and August, and in April, May, June, and September on every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evening.

Tip from the expert

Visit the alpaca farm in Kaulille. Here you can pet alpacas, groom them, walk with alpacas or lead an alpaca over an obstacle course!
