A lesser-known but special place in the vicinity is Thor Park. On the former mining site, you can walk leisurely among modern architecture and industrial heritage. From the panoramic hill, you have a stunning view over the region. While many visitors are familiar with the busy spots in the Hoge Kempen, here you will find surprisingly much peace and space.
