About this holiday home

This magnificent farmhouse is completely free in a beautiful rural setting. The farmhouse is for groups and has every possible luxury. The semi-detached farmhouse is over 100 years old and has been completely renovated (Jan 2024). In the recreation room you can play fun games together, and after a busy day full of fun in the house and its surroundings, you can take a dip in your lovely private indoor pool. There are 3 duplex bedrooms with beds at the bottom of the bedroom and on the mezzanine .

The surroundings of this farmhouse are beautiful. There are forests and meadows as far as the eye can see. There are many walking, cycling and mountainbike routes around the farm. In the Turnhouts Vennen area you can take lovely walks. The city of Turnhout has a rich history; the Castle of the Dukes of Brabant is on the UNESCO worldheritage list. Turnhout also has many museums, such as the Taxandria and Beguinage museums. End the day at one of the city's cosy restaurants and cafés.

We had a fantastic stay in Turnhout. The hosts and management company were incredibly responsive and supportive throughout our stay which made everything really easy. The villa itself is very spacious and has so many great amenities. The indoor pool was a huge treat and we also loved having the pool table and the large open-plan downstairs space, where we could all enjoy some lovely meals together as a group. We didn’t get the chance to explore the area too much, but there are supermarkets and a train station just a short drive away, which was really convenient. We’d definitely stay again if we’re back in the area!

Het huis is proper, modern en leuk ingericht. De keuken is volledig en de badkamers modern. De extra verdieping in 3 slaapkamers bieden wel veel extra slaapplaatsen maar de trap ernaartoe is wel gevaarlijk voor jongere kinderen. De tuin is klein maar wel netjes met een BQQ en een grote tuintafel. Het zwembad is top en de omgeving rustig. De prijs vond ik in verhouding te hoog omdat je maar kan toekomen voor een midweek op maandag vanaf 16 uur en je moet er op vrijdagochtend om 10 uur al weer weg zijn. Dus eigenlijk is de midweek maar 3 volle dagen. De gastvrouw is zeer vriendelijk en gemakkelijk bereikbaar.
