Set in a beautiful rural location, this beautifully restored farmhouse is perfect for groups. The farm has a lovely orangery where you can have a cosy meal. Inside, snuggle up by the fireplace. Enjoy a pint in the beautiful garden where the children can romp to their heart's content while you light the bbq or ofyr grill yourself The farmhouse consists of 8 bedrooms upstairs, including 3 duplex rooms with upper and lower beds, and 2 duplex rooms with upper beds only.

Alverwege is located between Merksplas and Baarle. Baarle the strangest village in the world: 30 pieces of Belgium and the Netherlands intertwined. Each enclave has an amusing anecdote or bizarre history. Discover them by bike or on foot. For nature lovers: Alverwege lies between the following nature reserves: The Valley of the merkske, the Turnhouts Vennen area, the Zwart goor and the Graafsbos. The Kempen colonies walking network is also less than 10 km away.

Prachtig huis met heel veel ruime kamers. Alles wat er nodig is voor een grote groep (met kinderen). Communicatie ook zeer vlot, waarvoor bedankt! We kunnen het huisje enkel maar aanbevelen. :)

Very roomy house with multiple zones to hang out. We liked that the bedrooms were separated into wings as well as having two kitchens amazing! Kitchens well supplied and clean. Check and check out was smooth and efficient. We were surprised that a house of this magnitude and price did not include hand soap or bath soap or towels and were a bit disappointed to discover the soap issue on arrival it just feels a bit petty considering how much you pay. And also needing to pay €100 cash on site to ensure we used the aircon “responsibly” again it feels a bit odd. The surroundings were beautiful lots of nature spots to disappear into which was perfect for our group.

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt, das Haus ist super ausgestattet und man hat sehr viel Privatsphäre. Das Inhaber paar war äußerst freundlich und hat am Anfang eine Führung durch das wirklich sehr große Haus gegeben. Zudem haben sie ein paar Eier der Hühner welche sich auf dem Grundstück befinden und Äpfel im Kühlschrank hinterlegt, das war äußerst freundlich. Die Unterkunft war zudem sehr sauber.

Merksplas has several specialities. For example, in addition to red gold (strawberries, cherries, tomatoes and peppers), there is a delicious local beer the 'Vageblond' and crisp fresh farmhouse ice cream
