About this holiday home

In a wooded area overlooking beautiful countryside, lies this stunning farmhouse. Built with reused materials, it effortlessly combines vintage elements with an industrial style. From the lounge sofa on the covered terrace, you overlook the garden with animals, a wood-fired hot tub, a unique workshop and a small museum. This accommodation is a feast for the eyes! .

The area around the house lends itself perfectly to making beautiful walking and cycling trips. It is a stone's throw from the Dutch border, and in no time you are in the Kempen Nature Park. There are plenty of active, cultural and culinary things to experience here. Together with the children, you can walk the Vlegelpad in Arendonk. The Talander walk through the Hoge Vijvers even won an award! For a good bouncer you have to be at Den Bockenreyder in Esbeek. This cosy restaurant/café is located in the middle of the woods. Truly a unique experience! .

Net als de andere reviews: het huis is nog veel ruimtelijker & sfeervoller dan op foto's over te brengen is! Heel huiselijk van binnen, niet té keurig en heerlijke tuin met o.a. hangstoelen, jeu de boules baan en separate speel-/bar-/hobbyruimte. Het ligt heerlijk rustig op loopafstand van mooi bos ("Grote Vijvers") en 5 min rijden van Arendonk (B) of Reusel (NL).. Slaapkamers zijn heel comfortabel, met ieder eigen wastafel, zeer ruime badkamer en er zijn 3 separate wc's. Prima plek voor ons met 7 volwassenen en 2 kinderen, die ook graag eigen ruimte hebben. Tuin kan afgesloten worden, alleen niet voor heel kleine hondjes want de chihuahua is op avontuur gegaan :-D. De trampoline en hottub zijn wat verouderd maar er is genoeg anders te doen! Wij hebben enorm genoten!

We had a wonderful stay at Eric's unique property. The kids loved the play barns, seeing the horses and playing on the trampoline. We particularly enjoyed the outdoor BBQ and the spacious kitchen. Eric was very friendly and helpful with anything we needed.
