About this holiday home

In a wooded area overlooking beautiful countryside, lies this stunning farmhouse. Built with reused materials, it effortlessly combines vintage elements with an industrial style. From the lounge sofa on the covered terrace, you overlook the garden with animals, a wood-fired hot tub, a unique workshop and a small museum. This accommodation is a feast for the eyes! .

The area around the house lends itself perfectly to making beautiful walking and cycling trips. It is a stone's throw from the Dutch border, and in no time you are in the Kempen Nature Park. There are plenty of active, cultural and culinary things to experience here. Together with the children, you can walk the Vlegelpad in Arendonk. The Talander walk through the Hoge Vijvers even won an award! For a good bouncer you have to be at Den Bockenreyder in Esbeek. This cosy restaurant/café is located in the middle of the woods. Truly a unique experience! .

We waren een midweekje weg met de familie. Onderling hebben wij er super van genoten, prachtig uitzicht, buitenleven en het bos. Wat ons allemaal wel opviel was dat er veel achterstallig onderhoud was of dat het net niet was. De douche in de slaapkamer, kun je geen douche noemen die staat er meer voor de sier. Dan heb je 1 grote badkamer beneden over voor max 12 pers. Wel waren er 3 toiletten en 1 urinoir. Buiten en in de overkapping was al het speelgoed flink verstoft tot kapot, erg jammer. Trampoline was in goede staat Al het keukengerei lagen in houten niet schone lades en alles door elkaar. Het keukenblok was eerder een blok voor gereedschap naar mijn mening. Oven rookte na gebruik door al het ingebrande vet. De hottub was van staal en roest, zonder chloorwater. En de BBQ tja.. Provisorisch in elkaar gezet in de openhaard. Het is verder echt een super mooie woning en nogmaals wij hebben ons vermaakt, maar het zou veel fijner zijn als er goed onderhoud/hygiene wordt gepleegd.

Een heel fijn ontvangst met kleine attenties. Het voorgestelde beeld op de foto's klopt met de realiteit. Voor het tweede jaar op rij hebben we weer genoten van stralend weer, van de hot-tob, het mooie terras met de open haard en alle merkwaardigheden die je kan ontdekken en het huis en het grote terrein. Een aanrader voor een familie met grootouders, kinderen en kleinkinderen !

Zeer mooie en propere woning op een rustige locatie. Bij aankomst een duidelijke uitleg gekregen waar alles te vinden was en hoe alles werkte. Het huis was heel groot en heel proper. Er waren veel leuke plekjes te ontdekken in huis en tuin. Het was er gezellig, veel plaats om tot rust te komen met het gezin.
