Verwacht zeker geen luxe villa of modern sanitair. Verwacht wel: een hartelijke ontvangst door eigenaar Ludo, uitzicht op een heerlijke tuin en hoge bomen, slapen in alle rust, vele mooie wandel- en fietsroutes in de omgeving. De sauna hebben we niet gebruikt, maar zag er goed uit. In de badkamer/doucheruimte is geen wastafel, dus tandenpoetsen kan in de keuken of bij de wc. Al met al hebben wij een fijn verblijf gehad en houden we dit gezellige chalet in gedachten voor als we weer eens in de buurt zijn.

Prachtige plaats, uitzicht op ptachtige tuin, inspirerende attente gastheer. 😀 De plaats van het chalet, er was een groot overdekt terras, complete inrichting. Verder is de gastheer bijzonder attent en een inspirerend mens.

Tip from the expert

Forget the busy amusement parks. In Kasterlee, you must seek out the sleeping giant in the Hoge Mouw. While everyone heads to the well-known gnomes, you wander through the quiet dune forest to a giant head, sunken in the sand. It's mysterious and serene. Afterward, rent a kayak for a trip on the Kleine Nete. Glide silently along the banks; nowhere do you feel the Kempen nature is purer. Finish off with a local beer by a hidden forest pond.
