The Kufstein region in Tyrol offers a rich blend of alpine nature, cultural highlights and outdoor activities year-round. In Ebbs, enjoy the scenic surroundings, the exotic Rarities Zoo with over 500 animals and the historic Fohlenhof Ebbs showcasing Europe’s largest Haflinger horse breeding. Over 105 km of marked hiking trails lead through lush valleys like the Kaisertal and up to peaks such as Pendling, with panoramic views over the Inn Valley and Kufstein.
Crystal-clear lakes like Walchsee and Hechtsee are ideal for swimming, hiking and picnics in summer. The nearby Kufstein Fortress and old town offer history, culture, restaurants and shops. In winter, top ski resorts including SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser – Brixental are easily accessible. Whether you prefer hiking, cycling, lake fun or skiing, the Kufstein area has something for everyone.
