The house is a little gem from the late 17th century. Can highly recommend! Sadly, management is somewhat below par. 4 days without hot water from 1pm until 3am due to faulty water boiler installation House should be cleaner but no surprise due to vacuum cleaner barely working. Also recycling storage in garage untidy and compost garbage can overflowing. Dryer faulty, stops after 20 mins. Administrators communicated OK and tried to assist but solutions not easy to come by or not at all. Felt like the administrators were doing us (clients) a favour by trying to solve some of the above issues. Would have at least expected at some point any sign of regret or apology for the issues encountered, it never came. Would have loved to give a 5-star review for the house but due to the above that would not accurately reflect reality. In general, commercially administered Airbnbs are much less recommendable than properties rented out by individuals and owners. JCK

For children and the young at heart, the Alpine Coaster (called "Alpbachtaler Lauser-Sauser") is an absolute MUST. The Wiedersbergerhorn cable car takes you directly up to the fun park

Tip from the expert

The house enjoys a perfect location. The valley station of the Pöglbahn can be reached in just a few minutes by car or about a 15-minute walk. In summer, the house stands out with its swimming pool and idyllic garden
