You will feel right at home in this cosy apartment on the ground floor and basement. With plenty of comfort and typical Tyrolean furnishings, it feels especially warm even on the coldest winter days. With its location about 2 km from the centre of Westendorf, you have everything within easy reach. In just 5 minutes by car, you can reach the Alpenrosenbahn ski lift, which takes you to the Sonnalm, for example. The Skiwelt Brixen im Thale can be reached in about 7 minutes by car. Westendorf is a charming Austrian mountain village located in the heart of the Kitzbüheler Alpen. It has a traditional Tyrolean feel, with cosy restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy local dishes such as the Wiener Schnitzel and Apfelstrudel. Whether you are looking for adventure in the mountains, want to discover the local culture or just relax in alpine surroundings, you are in the right place here .

Die Gastgeber waren Freundlich , alles sauber und für 1 Paar empfehlenswert. Da wir 2 Paare waren wurden noch Räume im Kelller mit gewertet und im Text als "Souterrain" versteckt bezeichnet. Diese Bezeichnung ist aber Irreführend denn lt. Netz :Souterrain oder Tiefparterre ist im Bauwesen ein etwa zur Hälfte in den Erdboden versenktes Geschoss, im Gegensatz zum ganz im Boden versenkten Keller und zum ein halbes Geschoss hoch gesetzten Hochparterre. Es waren Kellerräume mit Fenstern in Lichtschächten. Bitte unbedingt bei der Buchung beachten , denn es war kühl und ein typischer Kellergeruch. Der Rest war einwandfrei.

Is it possible to charge an electric car at the house?

No, unfortunately not. There are several charging stations at the Alpenrosenlift and in Westendorf.

Tip from the homeowner

At Haus Josef (Chalet Josef), most guests leave their car at the apartment in winter, since it's only a walking time of 5 min.to the Choralmbahn. Unless you are in a ski school, then you have to drive to the ski school in the village. If there is enough snow, you can ski or snowboard the last 100 m in deep snow via the Hollern run directly to Haus Josef / App. Josef.

Tip from the expert

The location is ideal. There is a lot of peace and quiet in and around the apartment, but you can still get to Westendorf and the mountain railway in just a few minutes. The Hollern valley run is only a few hundred metres away as the crow flies.
