About this holiday home

Welcome to our spacious, modern vacation apartments in the attic of a lovingly maintained farm that perfectly combines tradition and modernity. Featuring a private entrance, this accommodation offers an unparalleled level of privacy and comfort for up to 10 people. The apartment includes three tastefully decorated bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and is surrounded by the picturesque landscape near Lake Walchsee.

Walchsee in the Kaiserwinkel, a jewel in Tyrol, attracts visitors all year round with its picturesque landscape and variety of leisure activities. The holiday flat itself is located on an idyllic farm in the middle of the Schwemm, a 65-hectare moorland and nature reserve in the municipality of Walchsee. The Schwemm was awarded the Neptune State Prize for Water 2023 in the "Water Community" category throughout Tyrol. In summer, the region transforms into a paradise for hikers, cyclists and water sports enthusiasts. The clear waters of Lake Walchsee offer ideal conditions for swimming, sailing and stand-up paddling, while the surrounding mountains and valleys with their network of hiking and cycling trails invite you to explore. Numerous mountain huts invite you to stop for a bite to eat, where traditional Tyrolean delicacies are served. In winter, the landscape is transformed into a white wonderland that attracts skiers, snowboarders and cross-country skiers. You can even access the cross-country ski trail directly from your holiday flat. The ski areas in the surrounding area, such as Hochkössen, offer pistes for all levels of difficulty, modern lifts and the breathtaking backdrop of the Tyrolean Alps. Away from the pistes, there are opportunities for winter hiking, tobogganing and ice skating, making the Kaiserwinkel an ideal destination for families and those seeking relaxation. Those interested in culture will find numerous sights in the region, including traditional Tyrolean villages, historic churches and chapels as well as local markets that convey an authentic Tyrolean lifestyle. Events and festivals throughout the year offer an insight into the local culture and traditions. Walchsee and the Kaiserwinkel therefore offer a perfect blend of nature, sporting activity and cultural wealth, making every visit an unforgettable experience .

Tip from the homeowner

Experience the traditional "Almabtrieb" up close at our atmospheric "Heimfahrerfest", where the cows come home from the summer farm. Our farm festival usually takes place on the first weekend in October - with regional delicacies, music and a cosy get-together. We are happy to invite our guests to dine. In winter, snow tubing rings are also available to hire, so you can slide down the slope

Tip from the expert

Walchsee is worth a visit all year round. As well as swimming in summer, there is a small family-friendly ski area in the village for winter fans. Ideal for beginners and children
