About this holiday home
The EAGGA-Alm, a low-slung and self-catering hut, is located in Inneralpbach in a beautiful and sunny secluded location at about 1,500 m above sea level with a dream view of the Alpbachtal mountains. You look from the Wiedersbergerhorn over the Galtenberg to the Steinbergalm at the end of the Luegergraben. Surrounded by the large alpine meadow, you can enjoy a wonderful hiking area here, ideally suited for families. The kids can play nicely at the nearby stream.
The alpine hut offers a rustic eat-in kitchen, a total of three bedrooms and what you wouldn't expect on the alpine pasture, a modern bathroom with bathtub, shower cabin and separate toilet.
In the kitchen you prepare your meals just like in the old days, on a wood cooker with an oven. The wood stove is also used to heat the whole cottage, which is very well insulated and it is comfortably warm in no time. Sufficient wood is provided by the owner free of charge.
The electrical power is supplied by battery and generator, which is located in the neighbouring stable building and you will not hear any noise.
When arriving in summer you drive to the farm of the house owner 4 km above Inneralpbach, who then drives with you another 5 km to the alp, 4 km of which is a gravel road.
In winter, you also drive to the farm where you can park your car and are then taken to the mountain pasture with your luggage by the landlord on a quad bike. Transport during your stay is offered for a fee.
From the alpine pasture you can ski over open terrain to the Schatzberg ski slope, then back up and back to the hut. Also a wonderful area for snowshoe hikes.
In summer as well as in winter you receive the free Alpbachtal-Seenland-Card with many discounts.
In winter, be sure to carry snow chains
