Welcome to this attractively furnished chalet in the popular Murtal holiday region in Styria. It is located on a quiet mountain road, offers beautiful unobstructed views of the surrounding mountain landscape, and close to the Kreischberg ski resort. The chalet is fully equipped, including an outside sauna with rain shower, a large covered terrace, 2 parking spaces and free WLAN. The ideal place for an unforgettable holiday in the Alps during all seasons of the year!.
The chalet is located on a small chalet park at an altitude of 900 metres, about 2 kilometres from the centre of the village of Stadl an der Mur, in the popular Styrian holiday region Murtal. The village offers several shops, restaurants and a beautiful swimming lake. About 15 kilometres away is the historic town of Murau, with an attractive old centre, extensive shopping facilities and an indoor swimming pool.
In the immediate vicinity (approx. 5-10 minutes by car) is the well-known family ski area Kreischberg, a snow-sure ski area in the region with 42 km of wide and perfectly well-prepared slopes. This makes carving and snowboarding really fun! For those for whom this is still not enough skiing fun, there are also the ski areas in the surrounding area in Lachtal, Grebenzen, Katschberg-Aineck and Turracher Höhe. These ski resorts can be reached in about 30 minutes by car.
In summer, the "Freizeitanlage" on the outskirts of Stadl an der Mur 10 walking minutes from the chalet offers a 7,000 m² swimming lake and spacious sunbathing areas. The Murau holiday region, also called the 'green heart of Styria', is also called Austria's hiking and cycling paradise, here you can enjoy countless kilometres of cycling and hiking routes in spring, summer and autumn.
A visit to the therme AQUALUX in Fohnsdorf ensures pure relaxation all year round! The Murau region also offers several golf courses for a relaxing golf holiday, such as the Murau-Kreischberg Golf Club and the Grebenzen Golf Club.
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

In the summer months, a steam train runs through the valley. You can raft and canoe on the Mur, climb waterfalls, and test your climbing skills in climbing parks or the surrounding natural area. The area has many mountain lakes, beautiful hiking and cycling routes, and small mountain restaurants. What about a great car or motorbike tour over winding mountain roads and challenging mountain passes? Winter fun in Stadl an der Mur: Here, the "Freizeitanlage" offers ice skating on the natural ice rink and an ice-stock shooting range (Curling). Furthermore, there is, of course, plenty of opportunity for snowball fights, tobogganing down the slopes, or just a lovely walk in a winter paradise transformed by snow!
Visit the Frauenalpe, a diverse local recreation area known all year round as the local mountain of the historic town of Murau. In addition to hiking and biking tours, the 8 km panoramic road along beautiful vantage points is one of the summer tips. As a natural snow mecca, the Frauenalpe casts a spell over ski tourers and snowshoe hikers!
