The chalet is located on a small chalet park at an altitude of 900 metres, about 2 kilometres from the village of Stadl an der Mur, in the popular Styrian holiday region Murtal, offering shops, restaurants and a beautiful swimming lake. About 15 kilometres away is the historic town of Murau, with an attractive old city centre, extensive shopping facilities and an indoor swimming pool. In the immediate vicinity (approx. 5-10 minutes by car) is the well-known family ski resort Kreischberg, a snow-sure resort in the region with 42 km of wide and perfectly well-prepared slopes, for perfect carving and snowboarding! For those looking for more skiing fun, there are also the ski resorts in Lachtal, Grebenzen, Katschberg-Aineck and Turracher Höhe. These resorts can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. In summer, Stadl an der Mur offers a 7,000 m² swimming lake with spacious sunbathing lawns, just a 10-minute walk from the chalet.
