Amid the beautiful Austrian Alps, in St. Georgen ob Murau Styria and less than 5 minutes from the ski lifts of the wellknown Kreischberg ski area, this attractive detached chalet awaits you! The chalet offers a modern and stylish interior, a large outdoor terrace and a sauna. Whether you are looking for an active holiday or a relaxing stay with family and friends, this chalet is the perfect base! Parking is available directly at the chalet.

This chalet is located on a small chalet park, about 2 km west of the historic town of Murau, in a quiet central location surrounded by beautiful nature. It offers fantastic views of the Schladminger Tauern to the north and the Gurktal Alps to the south. In less than 5 minutes you can reach the vast Kreischberg ski area at more than 2000 meters above sea level, with a total of 42 kilometers of snow-sure slopes and 13 cable cars. With a total of 7 ski areas, more than 40 lifts and 120 kilometers of slopes, the region around the chalet park is THE ideal place for all winter sports lovers. In summer, this holiday region also has a lot to offer. The Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen nature park is located in the Murtal holiday region, about 30 minutes away, and the Murtal also offers several cycling and mountain biking routes. Several destinations for excursions can be easily reached from the chalet park by the Murtalbahn. Many of the regional lakes, such as the romantic Furtnerteich or the mystical Podolerteich, offer free swimming fun and impressive natural scenery in summer. A visit to the AQUALUX Therme in Fohnsdorf ensures pure relaxation all year round! The Murau region also offers a number of golf courses for a relaxing golf holiday, such as the Murau-Kreischberg Golf Club or the Grebenzen Golf Club. In short, there is plenty to do here for young and old alike! In St. Georgen ob Murau and its surroundings, as well as directly in the historic town of Murau, there are plenty of shopping opportunities and a fine selection of restaurants.

Szuper helyen egy nagyon szép ház, tiszta, a konyhája szépen felszerelve, hangulatos nappali, jó szauna. A falak viszont nagyon vékonyak, ami egy faházban kicsit fura, minden áthallatszott a szomszéd szobákból. Ami még hiányzott, hogy mosogatószert is magunknak kellett venni, egy sok személyes apartmannál ennek azért alapfelszereltségnek kéne lennie ugyanúgy, mint a tusfürdőnek. Ezen kívül mindennel elégedettek voltunk.

Tip from the homeowner

A walk around the idyllic Etrachsee lake is absolutely a recommendation! This picturesque mountain lake lies at 1,374 metres above sea level and is framed by the peaks of the Niedere Tauern. The lake can be easily reached by car. After walking around the lake, stop off at the Gasthaus Karlhütte, where traditional Styrian cuisine is served!

Tip from the expert

At the nearby leisure centre in St. Lorenzen ob Murau (Freibad St. Lorenzen/Kreischberg) you will find a heated swimming pool, a children's pool and playground, tennis courts, a beach volleyball court and a skate park. Definitely a tip for a relaxing day of swimming in summer!
