Enjoy an unforgettable stay in this beautiful detached chalet, located in the idyllic mountain village of Hohentauern. Just 100 meters from the ski lift, you'll step straight onto the slopes for a day of winter sports fun. This chalet combines luxury and comfort with a warm, alpine atmosphere and offers breathtaking mountain views. After an active day, you can relax in the sauna or on one of the two sunny terraces. Parking is available directly at the chalet.
The chalet is set on a picturesquely located chalet park, not far from the small village of Hohentauern in Styria's Murtal holiday region, at around 1,200 meters above sea level, on the Triebener-Tauern Pass in the Rottenmanner Tauern. It offers stunning views of the Niedere Tauern's highest mountain, the Großer Bösenstein.
The ski lift to the established and popular family ski area, Ski Hohentauern, with 11 kilometres of pistes, is only about 100 m away! This ski area features natural snow slopes and a snowmaking system from the Moscher valley station to the middle station (1,550 meters above sea level), as well as wide, perfectly prepared slopes and numerous deep-snow variants.
Other well-known ski resorts in the Murau holiday region are the Lachtal ski resort with 26 kilometres of slopes, which is located at more than 2,000 metres above sea level and therefore offers a beautiful mountain panorama, the Kreischberg/Murau ski resort with 42 kilometres of perfectly prepared slopes and the Turracher Höhe ski resort, a real winter gem with 43 kilometres of slopes. The nearby Kaiserau ski resort in Admont is ideal for beginners and offers 3 kilometres of slopes at various difficulty levels.
Ski tourers and snowshoe hikers will find an Eldorado for their sporting passion right next to the chalet park. The nearest access to the cross-country ski trail is also only about 200 meters from the park. Several hiking trails are right on the doorstep, and the holiday region also offers a wide range of cycle paths and mountain bike tours. Summer is also known for its public swimming pools and numerous bathing lakes, such as the Gaishorn am See bathing lake and the Wald am Schoberpass recreational lake. The more than 200 days of sunshine a year and the snow-sure ski area make this area a perfect holiday area at any time of year! Motor sport fans and motorcyclists will also get their money's worth, as the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is only 35 kilometres away!
In the village of Hohentauern and its surrounding area, there are plenty of shopping opportunities and a wide range of restaurants.
Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine
