The chalet is located on a small-scale park where luxury, privacy and typical Alpine character meet. Inside, you will find a spacious, luxurious living room with a modern open-plan kitchen and direct access to the inviting terrace. The chalet has 4 generous bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including one with a Finnish sauna; perfect for relaxing after a day of mountain adventures. The accommodation is on a small chalet park situated on a gentle slope with breathtaking views of the picturesque Donnersbachwald forest. The Riesneralm valley station is nearby and the park is surrounded by serene nature.
In winter, Donnersbachtal seems straight out of a fairy tale, complete with snow-sure ski areas Riesneralm and Planneralm, which together offer 50 km of slopes. For families, Riesneralm's children's ski area is ideal. Looking for adventure off the slopes? Then try the natural toboggan run or the cross-country trails close to the chalet.
In summer, the area transforms into a paradise for active holidaymakers. Test your skills on the 3D archery course, explore the E-Enduro Bikepark or go fly-fishing. You will have a unique experience at the Gipfel pool: a heated pool at the top of the Riesnerkrispen, 1900 metres high and featuring a 360-degree panoramic view

Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

Just outside the village, about 2 km from the house, is the Badesee of Donnersbachwald. This is the perfect place to cool down on a hot summer day.

Which border crossing do you recommend for the approach route?
If you are coming from Belgium, the Netherlands or Germany, we recommend driving into Austria at the border crossing at PASSAU. This will avoid MÜNCHEN. If you drive this way, there is the least chance of traffic jams.
How many parking spaces are there at the property?
There is 1 parking space at the house. If you arrive with more cars than the number of parking spaces at the chalet, we kindly ask you to park them in the general car park at the ski slope. This is to prevent parked cars from making optimal snow clearance impossible.
How big and extensive is the on-site supermarket?
We recommend doing your shopping on the way to the holiday home. The local supermarket is small and open for a limited time.
Is it possible to hire a bathrobe or sauna towel on site?
It is possible to rent a bathrobe and/or sauna towel from the caretaker. Ask for the possibilities and rates on site

Yes, there is a BBQ on site. However, you may need to clean the grill yourself before use.
