This modern and newly built chalet is close to the Kreischberg ski area in the versatile Murau-Kreischberg holiday region. The chalet is in a great location. The centre of the cosy village of St Lorenzen, the ski lifts and the public swimming pool are within walking distance. In addition, the train station can be reached in a few minutes on foot already from where you can take a nostalgic ride on the steam train in summer. If you are a golf enthusiast, there is a beautiful golf course on the outskirts of the village. In short, the ideal destination for a great holiday in both winter and summer.
This detached chalet offers stunning mountain views from the dining room. On the ground floor, you will find a modernly equipped kitchen diner with a large dining table and bar where you can enjoy your family and friends. Further on the ground floor you will find a living room with spacious cosy sitting area with plenty of seating and a bedroom with two spacious box-spring beds and private bathroom. In summer, you can enjoy dining on the spacious cosy, partly covered terrace. On the first floor, this chalet has three bedrooms. Two of them with en-suite bathrooms and double beds and one bedroom with a double bed. The double beds can all be split into single beds. There is also an additional luxury bathroom with sauna. With a total of four bedrooms and four bathrooms, this chalet offers enough space for 8 people and can be extended to a maximum of 10 people. Two parking spaces are available in front of the chalet.
In both summer and winter, there is plenty to do for active holidaymakers. As this region has not yet been discovered by mass tourism, it is precisely here that you can enjoy peace and relaxation.
In the winter months, a thick layer of snow turns the holiday region of Murau-Kreischberg into a real winter fairytale. The ski area is right on your doorstep. Snow-sure, wide slopes and renovated lifts make this a wonderful ski area for the whole family. There is a magnificent Funpark. Warm fires burn in the cosy mountain huts along the slopes. It is still 'gemütlich' here. Many other winter sports activities await in the valley. Magnificent cross-country skiing trails and winter hiking trails criss-cross the pristine white Alpine meadows. For those who want to toboggan, there are wonderful toboggan runs in the immediate vicinity.
In summer, you can hike in the mountains or cycle along the Mur cycle path. Rarely will you have seen such beautiful views or been so welcome in a mountain hut. The nature of this region is colourful with green mountains and blue lakes. Back in the village, the beautiful public swimming pool with its spacious grassy meadow offers great swimming and playing opportunities for children. The medieval town of Murau is an absolute must. As is the route to and a visit to the city of Klagenfurt. Finally, the Sölkpass is very worthwhile for car or motorcyclists. Due to its versatility, the area offers a unique holiday for every guest.
