The new 10-person gondola lift, within walking distance of the accommodation, was built in 2020. You can board this lift, called the ZellamseeXpress, to cross over to Zell am See-Kaprun and take on the Schmittenhöhe. If you spend a day skiing in the Saalbach area, the descent from the lift is also right next to the accommodation. You can easily reach the lifts in the Saalbach Hinterglemm ski area by taking the free ski bus. So, if you come here for a winter sports holiday, you have two wonderful, extensive ski areas right on your doorstep! You only have to walk a short distance. But this is also a great place to stay at other times of the year. The well-known towns of Zell am See, Kaprun and Saalbach-Hinterglemm are just a few minutes away. On a warm summer’s day, take a refreshing dip in Lake Zell near Zell am See. And don’t forget to bring your hiking boots! Enjoy wonderful hikes here through the unspoilt natural surroundings and mountain scenery around Viehhofen.
