From the house, you look out over water and open polder land where birds fly low overhead. Via quiet dykes, you can walk or cycle straight into Het Bokkegat nature reserve with its alternation of grassland, reeds and woods. Towards the Oosterschelde, the sky changes to salty and open. Wissenkerke is within walking distance for shopping or a terrace and for a day at the beach you can easily reach the Banjaardstrand. Middelburg and Goes are a short drive away
