About this holiday home

With its modern décor and a terrace overlooking the water, this accommodation immediately stands out. There is a picnic bench/table and from 1 April to 31 October also adjustable garden chairs. You can rent boats and bikes at reception, and if you book the boat ramp in advance, you can also bring your own boat. In winter, you can go straight onto the ice from the chalet. Holiday in a dream location! .

Outside Loosdrecht, the water experience does not stop there. The Vinkeveense and Maarsseveensche Plassen are also very beautiful recreational areas. Of course, it is no less enjoyable from the waterfront. Take a bicycle or skate trip along the Vecht and admire the beautiful country houses, castles and villages such as Loenen aan de Vecht. Breukelen is inviting and very centrally located in the Netherlands, so you are also in no time in Utrecht or Amsterdam .

Das Chalet und die Lage waren super! Alles war sauber, ordentlich und gut ausgestattet. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, unkompliziert und hundefreundlich. Die anwesenden Gäste waren alle sehr entspannt und haben Rücksicht aufeinander genommen. Es gab die Möglichkeit, SUP und Boote in der unmittelbaren Nähe zu leihen. Hundespaziergänge waren direkt vor Ort nicht ganz so abwechslungsreich möglich. Es gab aber einen sehr schönen See in der Nähe, an dem Hunde frei laufen und baden konnten (kleine plas). FAZIT: Gerne kommen wir nochmal wieder :)

Answer: It is about 30 km. from Breukelen to Amsterdam centre.

There is a good train connection between Schiphol Airport and Breukelen Station. From there it is still 4.5 km to the house. There is no public transport here so a taxi is advised.

Are there bicycles for hire?

Yes, there are (ladies') bicycles for hire. Costs are 8 euros per day per bike or 30 euros per week.

Are there any fast-charging stations for electric cars in the area?

Yes, you can charge your car in the port's car park using an ordinary socket. You pay €10 per day on the spot for charging per car. At Hotel Van er Valk in Breukelen (5 km away), there are lots of fast chargers.

Within cycling distance you will find the natural swimming pool De Meent. A very nice, relaxing and above all safe place to go with smaller children. It is the oldest outdoor supervised swimming pool in the Netherlands that is still in use!
