About this holiday home
This residence stands out with its contemporary décor and enchanting terrace overlooking the rippling water. A picnic bench there invites you to socialise, and from 1 April to 31 October there are adjustable garden chairs. At reception, boats and bikes are waiting to be rented, and if you reserve the boat ramp in advance, you can even bring your own boat. In winter, you step onto the ice right from the chalet. Fantastic!

Outside Loosdrecht, the water experience does not stop there. The Vinkeveense and Maarsseveensche Plassen are also very beautiful recreational areas. Of course, it is no less enjoyable from the waterfront. Take a bicycle or skate trip along the Vecht and admire the beautiful country houses, castles and villages such as Loenen aan de Vecht. Breukelen is inviting and very centrally located in the Netherlands, so you are also in no time in Utrecht or Amsterdam

Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

It is approximately 30 km from Breukelen to Amsterdam Centrum.
Are there bicycles for hire?
Yes, there are (ladies') bicycles for hire. Costs are 8 euros per day per bike or 30 euros per week.
Are there any fast-charging stations for electric cars in the area?
Yes, you can charge your car in the port's car park using an ordinary socket. You pay €10 per day on the spot for charging per car. At Hotel Van er Valk in Breukelen (5 km away), there are lots of fast chargers.
Can you fish from your terrace?
Yes, you may fish at your own risk. A fishing licence is normally required in the Netherlands.
Can you barbeque here?
Yes, you may use a gas or coal barbecue here.
How is parking arranged?
There is 1 parking space on the site. The cottages are by the water on a footpath, it is an average 100 to 300 metres walk from the car. There are wheelbarrows for guests to use to get to their accommodation.
Can you rent a boat?
Yes, this is possible. But this can be done at the park on site and not through Villa for You.
Are the beds made on arrival?
No, bed linen is provided, you just need to make the bed yourself.
Tip from the expert
Within cycling distance you will find the natural swimming pool De Meent. A very nice, relaxing and above all safe place to go with smaller children. It is the oldest outdoor supervised swimming pool in the Netherlands that is still in use!
