Oude-Tonge is a small village in the Netherlands, located on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee. From here, you can explore the island perfectly, but neighbouring Schouwen-Duiveland is also worth a visit. All major beaches are within easy reach and the immediate surroundings offer beautiful cycling and walking paths through nature reserves and dunes. Here you will take the most beautiful holiday photos! With its great location on Lake Grevelingen, Herkingen is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. You can sail, windsurf, kite surf, swim and fish, among other things. The nearby Brouwersdam beach also offers numerous water sports activities, sailing and windsurfing schools and water sports equipment rental. There is a marina and the village has several restaurants, supermarket and a pizzeria. Lake Grevelingen is also a hotspot for birdwatchers, with a wealth of bird species. For culture lovers, the region offers a range of historical sights, including the Ouddorp lighthouse, the Goedereede fortress and charming Zierikzee .

Das Haus liegt sehr schön in einem ca.25 Jahre alten Ferienpark. Es ist sehr ruhig und wer Kinder hat bekommt auch noch ein schönes großes Grundstück. Im Ort kann man alles kaufen was für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt wird. Bis zur nächsten Badegelegenheit sind es ca. 6 km, also Fahrrad oder Auto. Wir haben viele schöne Fahrradausflüge unternommen und dafür ist es ein super Ausgangspunkt. Auch gibt es einige größerer Städte in der Nähe wie Zierikzee, Goes, Middelburg etc. lohnt sich immer diese anzuschauen.

Hallo, der Check-In war angenehm leicht und auch mehrere Stunden vorher möglich. Das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung und war schön und sauber bei unserer Ankunft. Die Zimmer waren gut ausgestattet mit einigen extra Decken, Kissen sowie Badetücher. Ist eine schöne ruhige Gegend ohne lautstarke Nachbarn. Einziges Manko ist die Distanz zu größeren Städten und Stränden. Alles in allen war es ein schöner Kurzurlaub.

Faunapark Flakkee is a fantastic day out on the South Holland island of Goeree-Overflakkee. Many animals can be seen in the nature-rich park. Dozens of different species of birds, alpacas, beavers, deer, kangaroos, squirrels, the swamp cat and many more. In 2024, it was voted the 'Most enjoyable outing of Zuid-Holland' by the ANWB

Goeree-Overflakkee is a beautiful island for walking, cycling and sports activities. From Oude-Tonge, you can visit many great cities, take a day trip to Rotterdam or explore one of Zeeland's interesting islands. By car, you can reach Zierikzee in 25 minutes, for example, or Bruinisse (famous for its mussels!) in 10 minutes. De Krammer nature reserve is on your doorstep, a beautiful area with many bird species, including flamingos.
