This cosy holiday home is located on a park in Oude-Tonge. Because of its location on the edge of the park, you will enjoy your privacy in the lovely large garden. Modern, spacious and cosily furnished, there is more than enough living space in this fine house. The bathroom has both a shower and a whirlpool to relax in. Oude-Tonge is a small village in the Netherlands, located on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee. From here, you can explore the island perfectly, but neighbouring Schouwen-Duiveland is also worth a visit. All major beaches are within easy reach and the immediate surroundings offer beautiful cycling and walking paths through nature reserves and dunes. Here you will take the most beautiful holiday photos! With its great location on Lake Grevelingen, Herkingen is a paradise for water sports enthusiasts. You can sail, windsurf, kite surf, swim and fish, among other things. The nearby Brouwersdam beach also offers numerous water sports activities, sailing and windsurfing schools and water sports equipment rental. There is a marina and the village has several restaurants, supermarket and a pizzeria. Lake Grevelingen is also a hotspot for birdwatchers, with a wealth of bird species. For culture lovers, the region offers a range of historical sights, including the Ouddorp lighthouse, the Goedereede fortress and charming Zierikzee .

Goedemiddag, In tegenstelling tot de foto’s op de site met de gepresenteerde “villa Robinie” troffen wij een villa aan met een geheel ander meubilair in de woonkamer. De enkele witleren bank was het enige zitcomfort dat we aantroffen. Ook het terras buiten was slechts voorzien van twee rieten stoeltjes, die erg gehavend eruit zagen. Geen kussens ontdekt om wat comfortabeler te kunnen zitten. De twee ligbedden waren ook niet voorzien van kussens en daarbij waren die ook erg laag. 70 plussers komen daar niet makkelijk meer van omhoog, als je eenmaal ligt. De afzuigkap gaf een hoge schrille fluittoon, daar was iets mis mee. Al met al een mooi huis, maar de presentatie op papier klopt niet met de werkelijkheid. Wij scoren dus een mager zesje voor deze villa Oude Tonge. Met vriendelijke groet Rob Alberts NB We vonden het erg jammer dat we onze elektrische fietsen niet in het “schuurtje” mochten plaatsen.

Faunapark Flakkee is a fantastic day out on the South Holland island of Goeree-Overflakkee. Many animals can be seen in the nature-rich park. Dozens of different species of birds, alpacas, beavers, deer, kangaroos, squirrels, the swamp cat and many more. In 2024, it was voted the 'Most enjoyable outing of Zuid-Holland' by the ANWB

Tip from the expert

Goeree-Overflakkee is a beautiful island for walking, cycling and sports activities. From Oude-Tonge, you can visit many great cities, take a day trip to Rotterdam or explore one of Zeeland's interesting islands. By car, you can reach Zierikzee in 25 minutes, for example, or Bruinisse (famous for its mussels!) in 10 minutes. De Krammer nature reserve is on your doorstep, a beautiful area with many bird species, including flamingos.
