About this holiday home

This beautiful holiday home with mooring for a boat is ideal for a holiday with friends or family. The holiday home is cozy and luxuriously furnished and has everything you need. Enjoy the sizeable waterside terrace with a beautiful view over the Kagerplassen. The living room with an open kitchen is fully equipped and offers enough space for eight people. The house is wheelchair accessible.

The island of de Kaag (accessible via a ferry) is an ideal place to unwind. The surrounding area is great for cycling, including a beautiful 17 km route exploring the area via various ferries. The Kagerplassen is the oldest water sports area in the Netherlands and offers plenty of activities. Moreover, the Kaag is a very short distance from Keukenhof and cities such as Amsterdam, The Hague and Leiden can be reached very quickly. .

We'd stayed with a family of two kids and picked this place because of the location. The house is huge and spacious. There is a charging outlet for EVs. Biggest plus is the private mooring.

The Laarzenpad runs right through the polder area of Kaagiland. Hikers can enjoy the flora and fauna of this area during their trip, flowering water plants, jumping frogs, and playing hares. Walking the Laarzenpad is relaxing and evokes wonder

Next to the Villa Kaagervaaring is the KaagErvaaring whisper boat in a small harbor beside the sculpture garden. This boat was specially built to allow people in wheelchairs to explore the Kagerplassen from the water. The whisper boat can be hired through the Kaagervaaring Foundation.
