A nice outing is to visit the windmill located about 1 to 2 km away, which is also fun for children. It is open on Saturday afternoons in the summer and on Saturday mornings in the winter. A guided tour is also offered during these times. A pleasant little walk is to take the ferry across the canal to restaurant Wild, where you can also fish, which is about a 1 to 2 kilometer walk
