Just under a kilometer away is the sheepfold, which also has a small café offering interesting tidbits. Coffee, tea, and other drinks are served, and it is run by volunteers. Just over the border in Germany is the Haarhmühle. You can enjoy sitting on the terrace or indoors by the open fire in the middle of the restaurant. The adjacent watermill is almost always open for visits. Throughout the year, you can play on the large adventure playground, featuring a big slide, climbing and scrambling castle, scooters, and little bikes. Definitely a must-visit! It is also a great starting point for a lovely walk where you can frequently encounter Highland cattle.
