Looking for a luxurious and special villa with a perfect quiet location yet within walking distance of the beach? Found it! The large windows provide wide views from the entire house, allowing you to enjoy the surrounding nature up close. The atmospheric furnishings ensure that cosiness and romance are not lacking! After a wonderful day, unwind in front of the cosy fireplace in the evening. And tomorrow you will experience another great day of holidays here!.

After breakfast, you can explore the surroundings. One day you choose a beach day. Callantsoog is loved for its beautiful wide sandy beach, perfect for sunbathing or a romantic walk. On the way, stop for an ice cream or lunch at one of the many beach bars. A number of beach pavilions are open all year round, so you can get a breath of fresh air on the beach even in autumn or the winter season, before warming up with a hot chocolate. The other day, you opt for a walking or cycling trip through the countryside, where farmlands and bulb fields alternate. Also be sure to visit the Zwanenwater, where you can spot many special birds. For a day out, Alkmaar is definitely worth a visit. The historic market square is the place to enjoy Dutch cheese with a good smooth beer. But you can also walk into the always lively village centre of Callantsoog. There is a wide choice of good restaurants. And it is great browsing in the various shops and boutiques. The supermarket is open 7 days a week and is less than a 10-minute walk away.

slechts 1 bedenking: het huis is naar mijn inschatting een energieneutrale (of bijna-energieneutrale woning), maar er is geen airconditioning aanwezig. Dat maakt dat het zelfs bij buitentemperaturen van slechts 20 graden die wij hadden tijdens ons verblijf, in de woning al snel te warm is. Als je de ramen op 'kiep' zet, waaien ze dicht, dus daar moet je dan weer iets tussen steken om ze open te houden. Mijn vrees is vooral: hoe warm wordt het er wanneer het buiten echt zomert?

Großartiges Haus mit tollem Ausblick, stimmiges Design, sehr gute Ausstattung: Beste Voraussetzungen für eine entspannte Zeit in ruhiger, beschaulicher Atmosphäre . Wir würden es jederzeit wieder buchen!

Die Unterkunft war grundsätzlich traumhaft schön. Das Haus hatte eine sehr gut durchdachte Aufteilung, die Möblierung war durchweg extrem hochwertig und optimal abgestimmt. Der Ausblick in die Natur und die dazugehörige ruhige Lage waren top, um vom Alltagsstress runter zu kommen und bleiben absolut positiv in Erinnerung. Leider muss man aber sagen, dass der Unterkunft bei dem aufgerufenen Preis, die entsprechende Sauberkeit und der Blick fürs Detail fehlt. Die Fenster wurden offenbar länger nicht geputzt und waren übersäht von Spinnweben. In den Lampen und Lichtspots im Haus haben sich ebenfalls Spinnweben und Staub angesammelt. Leider war auch die Kaffeemaschine stark verschmutzt und es waren noch Kaffe, sowie Kaffeesatz von vorangegangenen Urlaubern in der Maschine vorzufinden. Zuletzt haben einige Türgriffe geklebt und auf gleicher Höhe waren die Fensterscheiben verschmiert. Leider sehr schade, wenn Sauberkeit mit der sonstigen, hochwertigen Qualität nicht übereinstimmt.

The Lifeboat Museum in Den Helder is a delight for adults and children and can be reached in less than half an hour. Boats also leave from Den Helder for Texel, where you can visit Ecomare.
