About this holiday home
This beautiful traditional farmhouse in the heart of Beemster offers the luxury of a private bathroom in every bedroom. The beds are, of course, made up for your arrival, and plenty of towels are provided. You can also enjoy a lovely sheltered garden. The children can have fun on the trampoline and slide while the adults relax on the terrace with a snack and a drink. The heart of the house is the living/dining room, with a long table where you can catch up with family and friends.
The area is characterised by meadows, windmills and cheese farms. To experience the real Dutch feel, you can explore the area by bike. Take a loop around Beemster via De Rijp and Oosthuizen. The major cities of Purmerend, Alkmaar and Amsterdam are all within half an hour’s drive. But it may be even more fun to visit the typically Dutch towns of Edam, Volendam and Monnickendam, or the Zaanse Schans. Here, you can experience the very best of what the Netherlands is known for.
