About this holiday home

At 7 km from the beach, this chalet is surrounded by meadows. The chalet is located on a small-scale farm, so you will occasionally see a horse in the meadow and have a wonderful view. The farm has lovely farm animals such as horses, sheep, cows and calves. In the evening, you can completely relax in your own garden and enjoy the last rays of the sun or plop down in the comfortable living room of this chalet. A stay to leave all the hustle and bustle behind you.

Taking or renting bicycles is a good idea. From here you can enjoy cycling through the countryside. Choose one day to go to the wide sandy beach of Egmond aan Zee. This well-known seaside resort is also where you will find nice shops and restaurants. The other day you can seek the peace and quietness of the nearby forest. Or take in culture in Alkmaar, famous for its cheese market, where you can sample a good piece of cheese and Dutch beer. If you like playing golf or want to try this sport for a day, you can visit the neighbours, Heiloo's 9-hole golf course is known as an A-status course.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen. Es war ruhig, ab und zu hörte man ein Tiergeräusch vom Bauernhof. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Mein Sohn hatte Freude an den Tiere die auf der Wiese waren. Die Schafe und Pferde waren sehr zutraulich. Die Gegend ist perfekt für zum Fahrrad fahren und auch zum Joggen. Die Strände in Egmond aan Zee, Bergen aan Zee und Wijk aan Zee sind sehr sauber, sehr wenig Touristen und der Sand ist so himmlisch, da kann man Kilometern laufen kann.

Für die Erkundung der Gegend ist die Unterkunft sehr gut geeignet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und komfortabel. Bei ungünstigen Verhältnissen hört man den Flugverkehr. Obwohl Fliegengitter vorhanden sind, hatten wir mehrfach Mücken im Schlafzimmer.

Het Baafje swimming pool is the ideal place to swim in Heiloo. They have a heated paddling pool and a 50-metre pool with diving board. Order a delicious scoop of ice cream or a cup of coffee (open from late April to early September).
