About this holiday home

A private jetty, a waterfront terrace and a great location amid popular tourist attractions: what more could you want? This semi-detached house with kitchen is ideal for families or friends. Subject to availability, it is also possible to book the adjoining part of the house, allowing you to get away with up to 12 people. Discover this peaceful spot in the middle of the bustling Dutch cities! .

From the holiday home, you can sail to nice places along the Uitgeestermeer, or a little further away, such as the Zaanse Schans. Take a trip to the sea and beach, nice villages in the vicinity, a museum or to one of the larger cities such as Alkmaar, Haarlem or Amsterdam? Everything is possible here, just a short distance from the holiday home. The park is easily accessible by motorway and Schiphol Airport is close by. The park and harbour offer many facilities, including several restaurants, bicycle and boat rental .

Très bon rapport qualité prix. Magnifique logement au bord du canal, la vue est incroyable. Endroit calme et paisible, parfait pour se reposer. Logement très propre ! Seulement le linge de lit est taché malgré qu’il ait été nettoyé c’est dommage. Personnel très accueillant et sympathique, avec des instructions claires. Nous avons vraiment apprécié le logement et l’endroit. Nous recommandons !

Is the house easy to reach by public transport?

From Uitgeest station it is a 14-minute bus ride and then a few minutes' walk to the house. Walking distance from the station is 1.9 km (about 24 minutes).

Is there a hairdryer in this house?

No, there is no hairdryer in this house.

Is a fishing licence required?

Fishing is allowed from the terrace of the cottage without a permit. If you take a boat out onto the Alkmaardermeer to fish, you do need a permit. This cannot be bought at reception.

Tip from the expert

A nice alternative for the Efteling is Sprookjeswonderland in Enkhuizen. Especially recommended for the smaller kids.
