A private jetty, a waterfront terrace and a great location amid popular tourist attractions: what more could you want? This semi-detached house with kitchen is ideal for families or friends. Subject to availability, it is also possible to book the adjoining part of the house, allowing you to get away with up to 12 people. From the holiday home, you can sail to nice places along the Uitgeestermeer, or a little further away, such as the Zaanse Schans. Take a trip to the sea and beach, nice villages in the vicinity, a museum or to one of the larger cities such as Alkmaar, Haarlem or Amsterdam? Everything is possible here, just a short distance from the holiday home. The park is easily accessible by motorway and Schiphol Airport is close by. The park and harbour offer many facilities, including several restaurants, bicycle and boat rental .

Prima praktische woning in goede staat. Makkelijk bereikbaar. In mooie omgeving. 😀 Wij deden mee aan een zeil evenement op het Alkmeerder meer en logeerden met 6 volwassenen. De woning is modern en goed uitgerust en de kleuken is voorzien van alle benodigde apparatuur. Was goed adres voor onze 4 dagen. 😞 Als je absolute rust zoekt is dit misschien niet wat je wilt. Het park ligt pal naast de A9 en onder aanvliegroute van de Polderbaan. Zeker als je met ramen open slaapt is er tamelijk veel geluid. Verbeterpunten voor eigenaar/verhuurder: - Een slaapkamer heeft een vast raam met filter, kan niet open. - Onder de bedden in de kleine kamers was het erg stoffig, tijden niet schoon gemaakt. - De bescherm hoesen over de matrassen slapen niet erg lekker, zweterig. - Een douche trekker in de badkamer is zeer welkom om badkamer met 6 personen schoon te houden. - Een waterkoker die automatisch afslaat is zeer welkom. - Een duidelijke omschrijving van het lucht verversing is nodig, en een periodieke batterij check. (Werd in eerste instantie ontkent dat dit niet goed funktioneerde)

Die Lage ist nicht optimal, weil der Ort sehr still und Langweilig ist. Restaurants haben oft keine Plätze frei oder sin Die Lage war sehr schön und es war ruhig. Keinen Sonnenschirm und keine Möglichkeit das Wohnzimmer abzudunkeln. Die Stühle sind ohne Sitzauflagen sehr hart und unangenehm, hier sollte man Sitzauflagen bereitstellen.

From Uitgeest station it is a 14-minute bus ride and then a few minutes' walk to the house. Walking distance from the station is 1.9 km (about 24 minutes).

No, there is no hairdryer in this house.

Is a fishing licence required?

Fishing is allowed from the terrace of the cottage without a permit. If you take a boat out onto the Alkmaardermeer to fish, you do need a permit. This cannot be bought at reception.

Yes, that is possible. The costs are 10 euros per day per boat, which includes any trailer storage.

Tip from the expert

A nice alternative for the Efteling is Sprookjeswonderland in Enkhuizen. Especially recommended for the smaller kids.
