This monumental farmhouse near Breda and the Biesbosch has been converted into a luxury holiday home. As you have your private entrance and secluded, spacious garden, privacy is guaranteed. The stylish interior combines contemporary luxury with old elements. And with a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor, it is also suitable for the less mobile holidaymakers. Fantastisch vriendinnenweekend gehad in Wagenberg. Prachtig huis en enorm sfeervol ingericht. Je zijn door Sofie heel warm welkom geheten. Het overtrof onze verwachtingen!

Het huis en de tuin zijn heel mooi en heel netjes. Sofie is ook heel erg vriendelijk. We waren met een leuk gezelschap en hadden ook schitterend weer dus dat maakte het verblijf compleet. We zijn naar het Biesbosch gaan wandelen, een keer in de buurt van Petrusplaat en een andere keer in Dordrecht waar we ook een fluisterboot namen. We zijn ook eens gaan eten in Breda wat helemaal niet zo ver is van de verblijfplaats. Na het uitchecken zijn we ook nog gaan wandelen in Terheijden in de buurt van de Asterdplas waar we ook veel vogels konden waarnemen en de reetjes zagen lopen.

Een verblijf in het Hoevehuys is een echte aanrader! De hoeve is prachtig gerenoveerd, met een mooi samenspel van oude en nieuwe elementen, met oog voor detail. Tevens is het zeer smaakvol ingericht, modern maar toch gezellig. Het is er zeer proper en netjes, de bedden waren perfect opgedekt... je komt binnen alsof het huis uit een magazine komt, maar dan met een zeer warm welkom gevoel.

If you prefer a smaller budget or holiday with children, go to pancake house Koeckers; this Efteling-style restaurant offers delicious pancakes as well as a large indoor and outdoor playground
