This monumental farmhouse near Breda and the Biesbosch has been converted into a luxury holiday home. As you have your private entrance and secluded, spacious garden, privacy is guaranteed. Heerlijk huis om te verblijven voor een familieweekend. We hebben genoten van het prachtige huis met een geweldige omheinde tuin. Afgezien van het missen van handdoekhaakjes in de badkamer ontbreekt het de gasten hier écht aan helemaal niets. Sofie is een vriendelijke gastvrouw die voor ons klaar stond. écht top!

Had a great stay at Sofia’s house in Wagenberg - we were two families - 9 in total. Had a very comfortable stay, house is very modern, minimalist and clean. Good hot showers. We explored lots of places using the location as our base; Eftling, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Zaanse Schans, Zaandam and Amsterdam. If anything to note - and these are very minor - would all have liked bigger towels and a couple more mirrors 😀 Recommended x

If you want a delicious meal out, the restaurant Ripasso is within walking distance of the house; they cook at a high standard in this atmospheric location. If you prefer a smaller budget or holiday with children, go to pancake house Koeckers; this Efteling-style restaurant offers delicious pancakes as well as a large indoor and outdoor playground
