About this holiday home

Staying here means waking up at the edge of the forest, overlooking vast meadows. Could be worse right? The homely atmosphere of the large living room makes this room ideal for an evening of catching up and sitting back. The chef at heart can show off his/her cooking skills in the well-equipped kitchen, before you enjoy them together at the dining table. And all in a fairytale location! .

The forests of Alphen-Chaam, just below Breda, are characterised by large deciduous trees with several hiking trails, cycling paths and a challenging mountain bike route. If you are staying here, a visit to Breda is definitely recommended. This burgundian city is worth a visit any time of year. Climb the Grote Kerk or take a canal cruise, and finish with an evening out to dinner in one of the cosy restaurants. A visit to the Efteling or Beekse Bergen is also a possibility. And what about a trip through the Biesbosch? .

Hele mooie accommodatie op een prachtige plek met ook veel buitenruimte en in een mooie omgeving Ligging en omgeving zijn schitterend, warm welkom, prachtige accommodatie met alles erop en eraan, ruim voldoende zitplekken, fijne zolder. De keuken is wat aan de kleine kant als je met 8 man in het huis zit maar voorzien van alles wat nodig is. De vaatwasser wast niet helemaal goed schoon.

We krgen op vrijdag om 15h een mail dat we pas vanaf 18h welkom waren. Toen we om 18.15h aankwamen was de poetsploeg nog bezig. Zij waren erg beleefd maar lieten een overvolle vaatwasser achter die de vaat niet schoonspoelde. Leuk - meer dan 1100 euro betaald voor 2 dagen en dan kun je eerst wachten en dan afwassen omdat je glazen nodig hebt... Het gebouw en het terrein zijn mooi, van binnen is het gebouw echter zeer sober ingericht en voorzien. Er lagen bv geen vaatwastabletten, ieder kreeg maar een grote handdoek, een kleine tube goedkope bodywash en ga zo maar door. Het lijkt een ruimte waar ze overdag zakelijke gasten ontvangen en die ze in het weekend dan nog eens verhuren voor extra cash. Prima, maar verwen die gasten dan ook! We hebben van die gastvrijheid en een beetje luxe niks geproefd. Gemiste kans

We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door Lydia. Het huis is mooi en functioneel. Buiten alle ruimte om te bewegen, binnen alle ruimte voor veel mensen om samen te zitten. Al met al; zeer positief!

So depending on where you are in the village you are in the Netherlands or Belgium, this has all kinds of influences, such as when drinks may be sold. Very nice place to visit.
