About this holiday home

Imagine an attractive, detached cottage by the water, in the middle of nature near the Biesbosch. You wake up with birds singing, cast a fishing rod from the garden or spot a beaver from your terrace. There is no Wi-Fi, so you sit by the cosy woodstove, watching TV together in the evening. Furthermore, there are all the comforts such as a dishwasher and a fine shower. Cycling and walking routes start before the door; your bike is safe in the shed. Here you experience tranquillity.

The main reason you go here is to enjoy the Biesbosch. Hire a boat (canoe or sloop) and enjoy the water. If you don't want to sail yourself, you can book a whisper boat trip at the local tourist office. You can also take lovely walks through the surrounding polder landscape or the Biesbosch from this holiday address. The area attracts many special birds. You'll see lots of things along the way. This region is also popular for riding a (racing) bike. Breda is not far away if you want to eat out. You can also include De Efteling and the Beekse Bergen on your programme if you stay longer. In short, a region with plenty of options for a great holiday.

Super mooie ligging aan het water. Knus ingericht met gezellige houtkachel. Veel ruimte, met in de keuken alles wat nodig is, in goede staat en zeer netjes . Gastheren zeer bereikbaar, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mooie stadjes en dorpen in de buurt. Mooie natuur in het Biesbosch.

We hebben een zeer prettig verblijf gehad in het huisje. De accommodatie ligt vrij afgelegen en aan het water en biedt daardoor erg veel privacy. Het huisje is prettig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien, ook de keuken is zeer compleet ingericht. Goed om te weten is dat het wat koud kan zijn in het huisje, in de woonkamer is een houtkachel aanwezig en in de keuken staat een elektrische kachel, verder is er geen CV aanwezig. Voor ons was dit geen enkel punt, we hebben het nooit koud gehad. Ondanks dat het huisje wat afgelegen ligt is het een goede uitvalsbasis voor diverse steden in de omgeving. Al met al een erg fijn verblijf gehad in dit comfortabele huisje!

Het huisje is prachtig gelegen op een hele unieke plek. Wij kwamen in het donker aan en waren de ochtend erna heel verrast door de prachtige en u unieke ligging. In het donker is het wel niet eenvoudig te vinden, je bent er zo voorbij. Als je koffie wilt, moet je die zelf meenemen want die is er niet. Ook moet zelf je handdoeken meenemen en je douchespullen. De communicatie met Sybrand verloopt eigenlijk niet via hem en je wordt steeds doorverwezen met vragen naar een 3e partij. Wij hebben zijn veel gaan wandelen in de Biesbosch en zijn weinig in het huisje zelf geweest.

At restaurant Boeien in Drimmelen, you can eat delicious food in a nice ambiance. With children, this place is also highly recommended as they have a large indoor play area there
