About this holiday home

Enjoy a lovely place in this characteristic fisherman's house for 6 people. Located right on the Wadden Sea, this house offers tranquillity, comfort and stunning views of the dyke. With a spacious living room, fully equipped large kitchen, an atmospheric gas fireplace, three bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms, it is the perfect place to relax. Explore the surroundings via hiking and cycling paths, take a mudflat walk, or relax in the private garden. Pure nature and luxury in one!.

We are proud of an extraordinary place in the middle of the meadows with land and arable farming, next to the dike and the Wadden Sea. Enjoy nature here with beautiful light, peace, rhythm, and regularity. You only have to run up the dike to enjoy the expansive view. You can follow kilometers of existing walking and cycling routes across the dike. Good weather is not necessary here as the mudflats are always fantastic, and the house is lovely and warm partly because of the large gas fireplace and heating, which you can use all year round. A spacious garden that is half-fenced. The whole area around the house (the long dike and the Wadden Sea) is your backyard, where you can go crabbing, mudflat hiking, or dream away with the lovely view of the mudflats. Don't forget the fresh air here that instantly revives you. Entertainment is plentiful in nearby towns such as Harlingen, Franeker, and Leeuwarden.

Das Haus ist traumhaft, riesengroß und sehr gemütlich. Die Betten sind sehr bequem und die Küche und Bäder bieten allen Komfort den man brauch. Auch die Anlage ist super schön und der Vermieter war sehr nett. Wir waren eine Woche dort und kommen sehr gern wieder.

Sehr schöne Lage direkt hinterm Deich und äußerst ruhig mit Schafen direkt vor dem Grundstück. Leider ist es nicht wirklich möglich ins Meer zu gehen, da das Wasser bei Flut nicht mal am Deich ist. Außerdem ist man zwingend auf Auto oder Fahrrad angewiesen, da der nächste Supermarkt mindestens 8km entfernt ist. Zum Wandern oder Fahrrad fahren am Deich eine super Ausgangslage. Das Haus selbst ist modern ausgestattet und es ist alles vorhanden, was man zu Hause auch hat mit einem Grill im Garten. Der Kühlschrank ist leider nicht der beste, da er gefühlte 10-12° und kein 4-8° hat. Zudem gibt es für die Doppelbetten jeweils nur eine große Bettdecke. Das beides sollte man vor dem Aufenthalt wissen. Insgesamt und vor allem für den Preis aber ein sehr empfehlenswertes Haus

Super schönes Feriendomizil. Die Lage läd zum Entspannen ein. Aber: Wer Meer mit Strand erwartet, wird enttäuscht. Durch die Gezeiten kann zwar das Wasser bis an den Deich kommen, aber Strand etc. findet man vergeblich.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, for €40 per dog, you can bring your own dog or dogs. In consultation with the owner, the large garden can be completely fenced in.

Can the dog run away?

No, between the front garden and the embankment is a wooden fence that is locked, the dog can only enter the back garden in the neighbour's adjacent garden.

What about bringing your own towels?

It is possible to rent towels for EUR 10 per person on request from the homeowner

Are the beds made?

Yes the beds are made.

Is the place child-friendly?

Yes hugely child-friendly. There is a cot and baby chair available ( ex bed linen). Also, the front garden is enclosed with a fence. Children cannot just walk out of here.

Are there multiple high chairs?

There is 1 high chair as standard, should you need a second one, we can let the Homeowner know and he will make sure there is one extra high chair.

Located on the coast of Harlingen, overlooking the beautiful nature of the Wadden Sea, is Beach Pavilion 't Zilt. At 't Zilt, you can enjoy a drink, a delicious lunch, or dinner. 'T Zilt is known for its lovely terrace in the summer, but also thanks to the many fun events during the rest of the year. Kitesurfers and bathers can enjoy the sun, wind, and water to their hearts' content here. Bad weather? Inside, you can relax by the fireplace
