Floh-Seligenthal is a picturesque village in Thuringia, located on the edge of the beautiful Thuringian Forest. It is an ideal destination for nature lovers, peace seekers and families looking for fresh mountain air, green hills and authentic German cosiness. The area is great for hiking, cycling and winter sports. There are plenty of well-marked hiking trails that lead you past forests, streams and viewpoints including parts of the famous Rennsteig, one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Germany. In winter, you can also go cross-country skiing or tobogganing in the region, while in summer you can enjoy nature, local markets and cosy village festivals to the full. Floh-Seligenthal is also conveniently located to other attractions, such as Oberhof (known for its winter sports and biathlon centre), and cultural cities like Erfurt and Meiningen.
