Set off on varied tours through forests, mountains and valleys right from the front door. The region also offers numerous excursion options - from the Bode Valley and Brocken to the Harz narrow-gauge railway. In Thale, the cable cars and chairlifts take you to various stations with fantastic views of the Bode Valley

We offer a good starting point for exploring the Harz Mountains in all their splendour. If you like adrenalin, you have to go to Harzdrenalin, a 5-minute drive from us. Those who prefer culture are in good hands in Wernigerode or Quedlinburg. The sandstone caves or Thale and Bad Harzburg with their various attractions offer fun, games and excitement.
