About this holiday home

Between famous Cochem and Zell, lies the small but pretty village of Neef. There you will find this characteristic building from 1594, which has been converted into a very comfortable holiday home. Each bedroom has the luxury of a private bathroom. Furthermore, there is a cosy living room and a well-equipped kitchen. In the courtyard you will find a covered roof terrace and a courtyard with bbq. The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful Moselle region.

Cousin has many hours of sunshine to offer due to its favourable location. There are also cosy restaurants and wine taverns to try local wines (especially Rieseling), of course, or dine and linger. From the house you can walk to several viewpoints. The many meanders of the Moselle give you photogenic views. Neef is also an ideal starting point for excursions in the region. The area has a lot of history and is therefore rich in beautiful castles, such as the world-famous castle of Cochem. But also the medieval Burgt Eltz is often mentioned as one of the most beautiful in Germany .

Good to know

  • Charging an e-car at the accommodation is not possible and not allowed. Should you nevertheless charge your car illegally, the house owner/manager may, without discussion, hold you responsible for any damage and charge a fine

  • For reasons of tranquillity, reservations for groups of persons under 25 years of age are not permitted

  • Because of the peace and quiet and possible neighbours, noise nuisance after 22:00 hour is not allowed/prohibited in this holiday home

  • Upon departure, please empty all trash bins and leave garbage in the designated spot

  • It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Te weinig waarde voor je geld, goede locatie, maar vies en ongezellig verblijf 😀 De locatie: rustig gelegen in gezellig dorpje en gemakkelijke verbinding met de omliggende diepjes Elke kamer heeft een eigen badkamer Check-in en check-out instructies waren duidelijk 😞 Hygiëne ondermaats: -alles was vuil en stofferig Vooral de keukenkasten en het keukengerief waren ronduit smerig: -De keukenkasten stonken -de bakplaat was vanonder zo vettig dat die uit onze handen gleed en vanboven zo plakkerig dat aluminiumfolie er zo bleef aan plakken -de snijplank beschimmeld en vettig en de geur was niet te harden -de badkamer stonk uren in de wind naar schimmel als we het raam niet permanent open lieten -de vuilbakken buiten stonken eveneens enorm -de bbq en gril durfden we ook niet gebruiken omdat die er zo smerig uitzagen Comfort en gezelligheid: -de matrassen waren allemaal dun en ofwel te hard ofwel te zacht -we konden om 22h ‘s avonds niet eens binnen met elkaar praten omdat heel het dorp alles hoort door de enkele beglazing -er waren geen snijmessen aanwezig -het huis is donker en klein, niet helemaal zoals op de foto’s
