About this holiday home
The historic town of Münstermaifeld, 5 km from the Moselle, offers half-timbered houses, a beautiful church, shops, good restaurants and this holiday home. The character house from 1309 is fully modernised and complete, with luxurious bathrooms, a spacious living room, well-equipped kitchen and fine bedrooms. The modern furnishings are tasteful and homely. Outside, there is a long table with grill and a patio with lounche corner. The city centre is within walking distance and parking is free.
If you are here on holiday, you will definitely want to stroll through Münstermaifeld. Everywhere you see special vistas and beautiful old buildings. The central church is very impressive and you can visit it when there is no service. If you want to know more about all the special buildings, book a city tour at the local tourist office or visit the museum. Münstermaifeld also offers excellent food in several restaurants and plenty of shops for daily shopping. In summer, you can relax in the outdoor swimming pool with slide, sports pool and children's area.
The area around Münstermaifeld is perfect for lovely hiking or cycling trips. Highly recommended, for instance, is the Maifeld-Radweg, a beautiful cycle tour (approx. 28 km) on an old railway line. The Pyrmonter Felsensteig is a marked hiking trail, which is part of the so-called "dream trails" , you pass by the most beautiful places in the Eifel and Moselle region.
Another trip you should definitely take is a visit to Burg Eltz. One of the most beautiful castles in Germany, not far from Münstermaifeld on the Moselle. For a day trip, Koblenz is also well worth a visit, in this extraordinary city the Moselle and Rhine rivers meet. Koblenz is one of the oldest cities in Germany. You will notice this in its squares, churches and fortresses, but at the same time it is a lively city with terraces, shops and a beautiful boulevard along the water. For the best view, take the cable car over the Rhine to Fort Ehrenbreitstein

The Heimat- und Erlebnismuseum in Münstermaifeld is a special museum that takes you back in time (1900-1950/60) with old shops, workshops and historical objects. Definitely fun for both adults and children
